Ennion Gifts to The Studio

The Studio is a community bound by a shared appreciation for the magnificence of glass. The creativity and ingenuity of its artists shines through each day in the ways in which they strive to teach, learn, and advance the artistry of glassmaking.

Designating your Ennion gift to The Studio supports a variety of skill levels and techniques, artists residencies, facility rentals, and special programming. Ennion members make possible the equipment, expertise, and access—without which working in glass would be out of reach for most students and artists.

Artists-in-Residence

The Studio's residency program brings artists from around the world to study and expand their working knowledge of glassmaking. Artists spend a month at The Studio exploring new directions in glass art or expanding on their current bodies of work.

Classes and Special Studio Programs

From hot glassworking to flameworking, fusing to sandblasting, classes offered by The Studio create opportunities for those interested in glass to study alongside top international glassmaking artists and instructors.

Veterans and At-Risk Youth Programs

Instruction programs benefiting underserved populations provide access to the creative potential and restorative benefits of glassmaking. These programs help to increase the presence of diverse communities in glassworking and provide access to instruction that would otherwise be unavailable.

Accessing top quality glass facilities with freedom to speculate is a very big deal. The residency in The Studio gave me the vital support to realize one of my most significant artworks, which would have otherwise remained an abstract possibility.
